Oak Ridge Adventure KidsAdventure Kids is for school-aged children up to 5th grade
Sunday Mornings at 10:00amStudents begin in corporate worship in the sanctuary with their friends and family as a part of the larger church family. Before the message, students are dismissed to the kid's room (just off the large fellowship area we call the "Meet and Greet"). They will be supervised by our background-checked adults for their safety and your peace of mind. In the kid's room, they will take part in a high-quality engaging video lesson on the Bible using curriculum from Konnect HQ (Lifechurch.tv), group discussion, and prayer.
Between SundaysWhat happens between Sundays with your child/ren is so vital to their development - physically, emotionally, cognitively AND spiritually. We believe in doing our best to help equip and empower families with tools to assist them in discipling (leading & teaching) their own children about Jesus and to help them grow in their faith - together.
Because of this, each week we will send home with your child a synopsis of the lesson, a Memory Verse of the week (part of an incentive program for the children), and an optional digital family devotional for your family to participate in should you choose to do so. Families will have the option of choosing one or all of these methods to help inspire their children to keep growing in their faith. In addition to the take-home tools, throughout the week, we will also post "Table Talk" questions related to that week's lesson for you to discuss around the dinner table to keep learning and growing together as a family! These questions will appear on our Facebook Page, located here: https://www.facebook.com/oakridgewesleyan/. Finally, if your family is unable to attend in person any given week, we will be posting the lesson link so that you can also learn and grow from home...together!
